How long is Core Keeper? When focusing on the main objectives, Core Keeper is about 26½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 144 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Chest is the only paintable item storage, as space efficiently as any later on. Adjacent workbenches pull directly from them.

With that in mind, we wanted to take this opportunity to give you an idea of some of the key issues we’re aiming to address in the immediate future.

Once you’ve crafted the cooking pot at the workbench, you can combine ingredients to make dishes that increase your speed, max health, and even make you glow while they fill your health bar back up.

2. There are basically 2 classes in this game at this point, Melee and Ranged, because Magic and Summoner are barely playable - Magic is not the worst, but they can only get 1 weapon crafted, from what I've seen. Where every other weapon is an RNG drop, and makes it really difficult to get them as you wont be able to get stronger with easy to get gear. Summoner is absolutely painful to play as a class.

This time I'm running because I found a carrot for the first time and I can't wait to see what new meals I can cook with it. In Core Keeper I may be trapped in the dark with unspeakable horrors, but I'm also comfortable enough to get excited about making a stew.

It’s also a good idea to take the time and fully clear out areas, so the light can actually reach all the dim corners and not get cut off by random chunks of wall.

And if you want to make sure you always have fresh ingredients, craft a hoe to clear out some farmland, and plant the seeds that you’ll inevitably pick up during your travels.

So I'm surprised how comfortable it is being perpetually underground in Core Keeper. Part of it is the charming art and animation, along with the dynamic lighting effects. The game begins in the gloom of the Core chamber, but place a few torches and clear out some dirt walls with a pickaxe, and soon the room is bathed in warm light.

While the likes of Terraria and Valheim continue to hog headlines, Core Keeper offers strong competition. Its compelling gameplay, excellent art style, and extensive range of content make it worth diving in.

Slow-moving slimes may not seem like much of a challenge, but if you stumble across a good-sized bunch, things can take a turn quickly. Not only do they do a surprising amount of damage, but if you die, you’ll also Core Keeper Gameplay need to head back to that area to reclaim just about everything you had in your pack (only equipment and whatever was in your quickbar will respawn with you).
